Mr. Walia is a Vice President of The RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR) and is responsible for the execution of RMR Residential’s investment strategy nationwide.  Prior to joining RMR in 2024, he was Managing Director, Real Estate Acquisitions of LaSalle Investment Management.  Previously Mr. Walia was Executive Director, Real Estate Acquisitions for J.P. Morgan.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.  Mr. Walia is an Advisory Council Member of the University of Texas Real Estate and Finance Investment Center, a Gold Member of the Urban Land Institute Multifamily Council, as well as a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council.
